Music Basics will ship your product to you by the best method available for your specific needs. You have the option of
UPS Next Day Air, UPS 2nd Day Air, UPS 3-Day Select, or Ground (either UPS
Ground or US Postal Service Priority Mail) shipping.
Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge is automatically calculated for you when placing an order.
Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge is calculated
based on the
- shipping method (UPS Next Day Air, UPS
2nd Day Air, UPS 3 Day Select, Ground)
- weight and size of the items
- distance from our warehouse in New York
Our web site automatically calculates the
Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge for you before you place the final
order. Please make sure you have entered your shipping address correctly and completely. Upon delivery of your order, UPS charges $10 for address correction
on incorrect street name, suite or apartment number, city name and zip code. We will charge $10 for orders
where address correction is required by UPS.
To find out Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge of
your order before placing the order, follow these steps:
- Add all the items you like into the shopping
cart
- When you are done adding all the items to your cart, the web site
prompts you to Check Out
- On the following screen, you are then
prompted for the shipping address and shipping method. After you have
entered your shipping address and shipping method, the following screen shows
your total and Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge.
- You can hit the Back button on your
browser to go back to
the previous screen to change your shipping method if necessary and press Continue
and the Shipping/Handling/Insurance charge will be recalculated.
- Once you have chosen your shipping method, you
can then input your credit card and other information to actually place the
order.
There will be an automatic charge of $25.00 to your account for any shipment that is refused. Orders are generally shipped within 1 business day of the
order if the product is in stock at the time the order is received at the warehouse.
Music Basics does not ship on Saturday or Sunday. All Shipments are subject to stock availability. All packages will be delivered based on UPS regular delivery schedule: Monday - Friday excluding
holidays or US Postal Service regular delivery schedule: Monday - Saturday
excluding holidays.
All APO, FPO and Post Office Box orders will be shipped via the
US Postal Service Priority Mail.
International Orders - Any customs, taxes, brokerage fees or import duties are your responsibility and will
be charged to you once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are
also your responsibility. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may
be. We do not take responsibility for goods confiscated by customs officials or by similar authorities.
Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You may want to contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
Schools and Institutions - An official Purchase Order is a must or prepayment is required. School bids are welcome.
Music Basics is not responsible for any delays
caused by UPS, USPS or other shipping carriers and no credit or refund will be
issued. Shipping schedule and guarantees published on this web site are
based on the policies and guarantees of the carriers. The shipping
carriers have their respective policies regarding exclusions to some of these
policies and guarantees. These exclusions include holidays, strikes, traffic
conditions or accidents, natural disasters, weather, lost packages, etc. For complete guide

Shipping Schedule
Orders are usually shipped on the following
business day. However, orders placed on weekends sometimes may not be
shipped until Tuesday due to higher order volume over weekends.
In determining when you will receive your order,
here are some examples (these examples do not apply during the Holiday season
between Dec 15 and Dec 25)
An order placed on Monday and is shipped on
Tuesday (All Shipments are subject to stock availability)
- with UPS Next Day Air - the order will
arrive on Wednesday
- with UPS 2nd Day Air - the order will arrive
on Thursday
- with UPS 3 Day Select - the order will arrive
on Friday
- with Ground (UPS Ground or US Postal Service
Priority Mail) - the order will arrive between 5 to 7 business days
depending on the distance from our NY warehouse. For example, NY, NJ
and CT orders may arrive on the following Monday while CA and WA orders may arrive
on the following Wednesday.
An order placed on Friday after our warehouse has
processed the last batch of orders for the week, Saturday or Sunday may be
shipped either on the following Monday or Tuesday depending on the order volume
over the weekend. (All Shipments are subject to stock
availability)
- with UPS Next Day Air - the order will
arrive on Tuesday (if order is shipped on Monday), Wednesday (if order is shipped on Tuesday)
- with UPS 2nd Day Air - the order will arrive
on Wednesday (if order is shipped on Monday), Thursday (if order is shipped on Tuesday)
- with UPS 3 Day Select - the order will arrive
on Thursday (if order is shipped on Monday), Friday (if order is shipped
on Tuesday)
- with Ground (UPS Ground or US Postal Service
