Violin top is made out of
superior quality well pronounced and seasoned spruce. The quality of the spruce
used to make the violin top is one of the major factors affecting the
sound quality of a violin.
Violin scroll, neck, side,

to describe the amount of grain (wood pattern) in maple. Using
higher flamed maple to make the side and back of the violin increases
both aesthetics and value of the violin.
